All Boy

It is hard to believe our little Benjamin will be three years old in a few short weeks! Each day he seems to come alive a little bit more and continues to surprise us with his new "tricks", words, and lively personality. David and I are enjoying him now more than ever. You never know what he might come up with next. Yesterday he helped me make the grocery list. Here is how it went: milk, water, phone, cheese, mailbox. Where do they come up with this stuff?

For those of you who haven't seen it, this is Benjamin's famous "funny face." We are not sure exactly where it came from and lately it is accompanied by a strange, low voice that usually says, "oh Da-a-a-ddy!"

One of his all-time favorite things to do is play in the huge pile of dirt in our front yard that will someday (hopefully soon) be used for landscaping. But for now, it is the ultimate for driving trucks, digging and burying things. There is no telling what we will unearth one day! In the picture below Ben is showing off a few of his buried treasures. You can imagine his excitement and surprise when he comes across that toy that strangely disappeared one day.
